FEMWAG integrates climate education into its community programs to raise awareness about environmental issues affecting women and their families — such as deforestation, droughts, and rising energy needs.
We help women become environmental advocates by equipping them with knowledge, practical alternatives, and leadership roles in sustainable practices.
Participants are encouraged to form groups for joint production, exhibitions, and bulk order fulfillment.
This program is cross-cutting — embedded within our training on briquettes, stoves, and crafts. Women learn how their everyday choices directly affect the climate and how they can take action in their homes and communities.
Each awareness session includes demonstrations, group discussion, and local storytelling for better understanding and cultural relevance.
